Triceps Dip Performance Study with an NFL Tight End

A tight end for the San Francisco 49ers performed triceps dips as part of his regular training program. In his first set without cooling, he completed 40 repetitions, with the number decreasing over the next 4 sets, ending in muscle fatigue (a total of 103 dips). Four days later, he was cooled between sets using the CoolMitt, and his training volume over 5 sets was significantly higher (a total of 135 dips). He was also able to perform 4 additional sets to muscle failure (63 additional dips).

He continued using CoolMitt palm cooling during his two weekly workouts, and after 4 weeks, he completed a total of 310 dips in a single training session.
